A DAY TO REMEMBER
After 26 rounds of intense league fixtures and 3 weeks of nail-biting play-off action, the curtain finally comes down on the Championship season as two teams battle it out in a thrilling finale at Leigh Sports Village.
The final weekend of the 2013 season will once again be a day to remember with three matches - the Rugby League Challenge Trophy final (11:30am), the Kingstone Press Championship One play-off final (2.00pm) and the title-deciding Kingstone Press Championship Grand Final (4.30pm) – taking place at the 12,000-capacity venue for the very first time.
Championship Grand Final's never disappoint and this one will be no different as the players give their all for the right to be crowned 2013 Champions.
Leigh Sports Village is easily accessible from the major road networks and is also within five minutes drive of Leigh town centre. Parking is available at the stadium on a matchday as well as a number of car parks in the town centre.

INFORMATION FOR SUPPORTERS
Leigh Sports Village has ample capacity for supporters with a disability. There are a total of 109 disabled/easy access parking spaces on the stadium car parks and within the stadium, there are a total of 74 disabled seats accompanied by 74 seats for family or carers.
Match commentary is available for visually impaired supporters. The equipment is 'wireless' and can be used in all areas of any stadium that host one of our events. The system is fully portable and as such fans may sit anywhere they choose in the stadium, alongside their family, friends and other club supporters. It is advisable to reserve these at least 48 hours prior to a match as quantities are limited.

Greater Manchester Police
a) All the supermarkets will be refusing to sell alcohol to any persons attending the event. Morrisons & Sainsburys have a cafe. Asda has a McDonalds.
b) We have a Borough Wide DPPO in place in Wigan & Leigh - this is to reduce alcohol related issues. This means any person found drinking alcohol on the street who continues to drink alcohol when asked not to do so by a Police Officer or refuses to surrender their alcohol, could be arrested and if convicted receive a maximum fine of £500.
c) Below is a list of the local pubs/clubs that will be open on Sunday.
WHISTLING WREN (next to LSV) - opens at 1130am. No TV. This is a family type pub serving food all day.
PARK INN HOTEL (next to LSV) - bar open to the public at 11am, bar food available.
LEIGH EAST SOCIAL CLUB (short distance fm LSV) - opens at 1030am.
ATHERLEIGH WAY (short walk away) - opens at 11am. No TV. This is a family type pub serving food all day.
LEIGH MINERS WELFARE (5 min walk fm LSV) - opens at 1130am. Games being shown on TV.
RAILWAY (5 min walk away fm LSV) - opens at 12 noon. No TV.

SPINNING JENNY - opens at 11am. Games may be shown on TV. Bar type food available.
